Charlie and 333

This is the door to the room that Charlie stayed in at the Moqui Lodge at the Grand Canyon in May of 1986. No photos from within the room, just the "333" sign.

Click on image to see it larger, but really...you're not going to see anything else.

To see Charlie standing out front of the lodge click on the "Moqui" link below.

PEOPLE!

Am I seeing things? Are there really people in a photo with Charlie? Do they know he's there? I'm guessing they have no memory of him. He has the last laugh. Charlie has his own web page. The others are merely props in Charlie's world.

In the upcoming post we will have a first for Charlie. I'll let you ponder what that might be.

Charlie and MOQUI

You probably wouldn't be able to guess where Charlie is, but he's at the Grand Canyon. Charlie is at the Moqui Lodge. The lodge was demolished in 2005. This photo was taken in May, 1986. I'm sure Charlie had nothing to do with its demise.

CHARLIE AT THE GRAND CANYON, May 1986

Is this the south rim or the north rim, and exactly how close to the rim was Charlie willing to get?

Hmmmm...now I'm concerned. I'll need to check through my Charlie shots to see if there are any after this date. What if this is the last actual known shot of Charlie? What if the photographer kept asking him to backup just a little bit more?

I'm guessing if I find any scenic shots of the Grand Canyon without Charlie in them I'll have my answer.
