Charlie looks like he knows a thing or two about grass. Did he ever take a photo of his wife? I imagine her as the opposite of him - short, stout, and full of energy.
A few years ago I was given a large box of photos that contained many snapshots of a man named Charlie. The photos were taken, I believe, by his wife. They span the early to late 1980s. I know nothing about Charlie other than he is from Texas.
This site, which will last only one year, will take us on a journey with Charlie. We won't learn anything about Charlie or the places he visited. We'll just see Charlie in different locations being Charlie.
Now, I'm not stupid enough to think anybody is going to give a hoot about Charlie so I don't actually expect there will be any followers. However, should you feel the need to be notified every week about Charlie's new location consider adding yourself to the list. As of now, I'm the only follower of Charlie.
UPDATE: I have had to remove the junk in the passenger seat because I now have a traveling companion named Foobella. I hope she used the you know before we left home.
UPDATING THE UPDATE: Oh, someone is now sitting in the backseat. I'm sorry about the stuff that was in the front seat that is now in the back. If it smells too much I'll give you the pine tree from the rearview mirror and you can hang it around your neck. Just let me know.
FINAL UPDATE OF UPDATING THE UPDATES: The car is now full. I disposed of my stuff outside a fast food joint neatly spread around the tables. Presentation is everything. I have now added a roof rack. We are driving slow enough that those clutching the roof rack need not worry about falling off. I will provide umbrellas when necessary.

ReplyDeleteI don't know if the photos I have of her were taken by Charlie. She did seem to be a woman full of life with a broad smile.
Deleteoh! are we going to see photos of Charlie's wife in the future? Or is that another blog waiting to happen? ha.
ReplyDeleteNope. I won't be posting photos of her.
